Roura’s Plastic Lid self dumping hoppers, are available from 1/2 cubic yard through 2 1/2 cubic yards to solve the large volume material handling requirements.
Roura’s plastic lid hopper models provide a safe and efficient method of keeping the material in the hopper dry. Its unique design ensures a light weight cover that is easy to use. Our exclusive drip channel is designed to help eliminate liquid from reaching the material inside the self dumping hopper during operation.
Plastic Lid Hoppers include the following features:
- 7-gauge thick steel body with continuous weld for superior strength.
- Formed top with reinforced front body angle for optimum strength.
- Z-bar base with exclusive extruded trunnion track & taper pins for wear resistance.
- Ductile iron lift up handle with secure flip latch.
- Roura safety green paint.
Optional Covers/Lids
Plastic Lids
All standard and specialty hoppers can be customized with plastic lids. They’re lighter than traditional steel lids, making them easier to handle. Roura’s lids are made of polyethylene and are double-walled for added protection.
Mesh Tarps
Our mesh tarps feature fitted fronts and bungee cord fasteners for easy attachment and detachment. While they don’t offer the same level of protection as our plastic lids, they will keep items safely secure in your hopper during transport.
Vinyl Tarps
If you need removable, waterproof protection, opt for our vinyl tarps. They help protect raw materials and refuse from rainwater and groundwater, comply with local and federal regulations, and are easy to remove and store as needed.
